ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents particularly the second respondent to settle the petitioner's husband Late Muniyandi's terminal benefits including Provident Fund, Leave Salary from the date of his dismissal till the date with the interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the belated payment by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2025.

2. Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment, the petitioner is entitled to statutory interest as provided under law.

3. In view of the same, the writ petition stands disposed of. The respondents are directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the belated terminal benefits payable to the petitioner's husband to the petitioner from the 2/4

date of his entitlement till the date of his payment within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
