ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Government Advocate for the fourth respondent. Issuance of notice to the respondents 5 to 10 is dispensed with.

2.The writ petitioner is a resident of Koppannappatti Village. According to her, S.No.90 has been encroached upon. It is admitted by the official respondents that S.No.90 has been classified as a water body. 3.The third respondent is the authority competent to remove the encroachment in the said water body. We direct the third respondent to conduct survey of the petition mentioned water body. Notices will be issued to all the interested persons. If the survey exercise reveals that there is encroachment, individual notices will be issued to all the encroachers and by adhering to due process of law, the encroachments shall be removed. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
