O R D E R

The petitioner seeks a direction for issuance of patta in her name for the petition-mentioned properties as per the Will dated 07.05.2021 executed by the petitioner's father (Mr.Durai) in her favour based on her representations dated 07.11.2025 and 12.11.2025, given to the respondents 1 to 3.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner traces title to the above mentioned property through her father. It is stated that the petitioner's father executed an unregistered Will on 07.05.2021 in terms of which he bequeathed his properties (11 items) in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner states that the patta stands in the name of her father.

4. In the above facts and circumstances, it is stated that the petitioner submitted a representation for a mutation of the patta on 2/5

12.11.2025. The present writ petition is filed in view of the alleged failure of the respondents to take further steps thereon.

5. Mr.B.Ramanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for the respondents. He submits that the respondent may be directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, after issuing notice to all the legal heirs, within a reasonable time frame.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2025 seeking issuance of a patta. Such representation shall be considered and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the other legal heirs of Mr.Durai.
