Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

2. Issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

3. The writ petitioner is the President of Aalathimanai Village, 2/5

3 W.P.(MD)NO.35517 OF 2025 Okkur Perundhamarai Post in Avudayarkovil Taluk. He complained that the petition-mentioned tank has been encroached upon. He wants the same to be removed.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that survey was already conducted and Form-I notice was also issued. It is conceded that the encroachments were noticed. We direct the fourth respondent herein to take further action as per the provisions of the relevant statute.

5. The third respondent is directed to issue notice to the private respondents and other encroachers if any, conduct survey and if the encroachments are noticed, then by adhering to due process of law, the encroachments shall be removed. The entire exercise will be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
