ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to direct the 2nd respondent to disburse the remaining amount of Rs.2,40,699/- with eligible interest in the light of the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 25.10.2024.

2. I have carefully considered the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner had earlier claim a sum of Rs.3,39,839/- as medical reimbursement and out of which a sum of Rs.3,14,838/- has been approved by the first respondent. But, however, only a sum of Rs.99,140/- had been reimbursed by the 2nd respondent. Aggrieved against which, the petitioner has approached this Court.

It is to be noted that a grievance mechanism has been formulated by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.202, Finance Salaries Department dated 30.06.2016, in which, under clause 14, a District Level Grievance Cell had been constituted. Before which, the petitioner can raise the issue, which would factually decided the same.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Level Grievance Committee as constituted under the aforesaid Government Order and when such claim made by the petitioner before the District Level Grievance Committee, the Committee shall be consider his claim and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance complaint. 28.11.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non-Speaking order gvn 3/4
