O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct survey of the land in Natham S.No.1688/12 (old S.No.1518/4) and Ayan Punja S.No.1523/15A (Old S.No.1523/15) at Mudivaithanendal Village, Tuticorin Taluk, Tuticorin District and fix the four boundaries by considering the petitioner's application dated 18.08.2025 and issue the certificate of survey or acknowledgment of completion of survey within the time fixed by this Court.

2. Both parties are present and by considering their arguments, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the property in question was purchased in the year 1984 and he was in possession since then. In fact, patta was also issued. However, the land was not demarcated and exact boundaries were not fixed. 2/4

In view of the same, the respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.08.2025 for conducting survey and demarcating the land in question, in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight (8) weeks from today.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
