O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the second respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking ordinary leave for her husband who is life convict by representation dated 11.11.2025, however it was not considered, hence the petitioner was constrained to file this petition.
2. While pending writ petition, the second respondent considered the representation submitted by the petitioner and granted 21 days ordinary leave by an order dated 22.12.2025 on condition that the husband of the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Aruppukottai Police Station.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the husband of the petitioner is now undergoing treatment in Meenakshi Mission
Hospital, Madurai and thereby he is unable to report before the Aruppukottai Police Station and he is ready and willing to appear before the Inspector of Police, Othakadai Police Station, Madurai District .
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case the condition imposed vide order dated 22.12.2025 directing the husband of the petitioner to report before the Inspector of Police, Aruppukottai Police Station, Virudhunagar District is modified to the effect that the husband of the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Othakadai Police Station, Madurai District till the completion of leave period.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition(crl.) stands disposed of.
