PRAYER :- To relax the condition imposed on the petitioner by this Court that the appellants/A1 and A2 shall report before the Inspector of Police, K.Pudur Police Station, Madurai, daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders in Crl.A(MD)No.950 of 2025 dated 17.09.2025 in Crime No.285 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The above petition has been filed seeking an order to relax the condition imposed on the petitioners by this Court in its order, dated 17.09.2025, made in Crl.A(MD)No.950 of 2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.While allowing the appeal, this Court imposed the condition directing the appellants to stay at Madurai and report before the Inspector of Police, K.Pudur Police Station, daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders. Thereafter, the petitioners filed Crl.M.P(MD)No.16472 of 2025 seeking to relax the said condition and the said petition was dismissed as withdrawn 2/5

vide order dated 07.11.2025. Thereafter, the present petition is filed seeking to relax the condition.

4. The petitioners state that they are daily wage collies and sole bread winner of the families. The petitioners further state that due to the condition imposed by this Court directing them to stay at Madurai and report before the Inspector of Police, K.Pudur Police Station, daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders, the petitioners were unable to do their coolie works and it is difficult to report before K.Pudur Police Station, Madurai daily at 10.30 a.m since the petitioners are permanent residents of Karur District. The petitioners therefore seek for relaxation of the condition imposed by this Court.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioners were irregular in complying with the condition for some days and they did not comply the condition on 18.10.2025, 20.10.2025 and from 21.10.2025 to 13.11.2025. He also submits that from 14.11.2025 till date the petitioner has been regularly complying with the condition. 3/5

6. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court is inclined to modify the condition to the effect that the petitioners shall report before the Inspector of Police, K.Pudur Police Station, Madurai once in a week i.e on every Monday at 10.30 a.m until further orders.

7. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
