ORDER

By relying on assignment order dated 29.06.1990 in favour of the petitioner's mother, the death and legal heir certificates relating to the petitioner's mother and sale deed dated 16.07.2010 executed by the other legal heirs in favour of the petitioner, the petitioner had applied for issuance of patta.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. By referring to communication dated April 2025 from the Revenue Divisional Officer to the Tahsildar, he submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer would pass orders upon receipt of the Tahsildar's report.

3. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for patta after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the other legal heirs of the deceased assignee. A speaking order shall be issued within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
