O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 5 to cancel the wrong classification of the petitioner's land as "Residential" and to reclassify the same as "Punja Land", in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.152/6, measuring an extent of 1 acre and 65 cents, situated at Marutham Puthoor Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tenkasi District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2025, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's property has been wrongly classified as "Residential" instead of "Punja Land". Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents on 11.08.2025 requesting them to cancel the incorrect residential classification and to reclassify the land as "Punja Land". 2/5

However, since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2025 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
