PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents No. 1 to 4 not to make any mutations in the revenue records in the name of respondent Nos.6 and 7 without giving an opportunity to the petitioner on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025. O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents No.1 to 4 not to make any mutations in the revenue records in the name of respondent Nos.6 and 7 without giving an opportunity to the petitioner, on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025.

2. Both parties are present and by considering their arguments, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the subject property originally belongs to one S.V.Paramanantham, who is none other than the cousin brother of the petitioner. The said S.V.Paramanantham died leaving 2/4

behind his wife. Thereafter, the said Raja Soundari executed a Will dated 14.03.2025, bequeathing the subject property to the petitioner. However, the respondent Nos. 6 and 7, without any right in the subject property, trying to get patta and mutate the revenue records in their names. Hence, the petitioner submitted an application seeking not to make any mutations in the revenue records in the name of respondent Nos.6 and 7 without giving an opportunity to the petitioner,

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the third respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 17.11.2025, after following due procedure as prescribed under the Act, as early as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
