PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 4 and 6 not to install electricity transmission line in the petitioner's agricultural property in S.No. 483/2 of Porunthalur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District based on the petitioner's representations dated 17.10.2025 and 14.11.2025. ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the respondents 4 to 6 not to install electricity transmission line in the petitioner's agricultural property in S.No.483/2 of Porunthalur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District based upon his representations dated 17.10.2025 and 14.11.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the 6th respondent has filed a counter. Paragraph No.8 of the said counter is extracted as follows:- "It is submitted that this Respondent has approached the Petitioner for her consent to erect HT transmission Towers and lines at her lands comprised in Survey No.483/2, Porunthanallur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District and consequently, the Petitioner has also consented for erection of HT transmission towers, laying of electricity transmission lines vide Deed of Consent dated 8th March 2025, upon receipt of valuable consideration. It is further submitted that the Petitioner has also consented for enter upon her lands for future maintenance, repairs by the employees of the 6th Respondent as well as personnels of electricity department corporations.
It is relevant to submit that the Petitioner has also indemnified the 6th Respondent in respect of any constrained losses in the event of impairment of her title over the said lands. Nevertheless, the Petitioner has suppressed the above fact while filing this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is not maintainable and liable to be dismissed ."
3. A perusal of the typed set of papers filed by the 6th respondent reveals that the petitioner herein had executed a consent deed and also received a sum of Rs.2,50,000/-. In such circumstances, suppressing the above facts, the present writ petition has been filed and therefore, this writ petition is liable to be dismissed and accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed.
