ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) The prayer of the petitioner is for a mandamus simpliciter directing the respondents to enquire into the grievance under representation dated 06.09.2025 filed by the petitioner.

2. The grievance of the petitioner relates to an entry made in favour of R4 in Adangal Revenue records relating to Old S.No.12, New S.No.13/8 admeasuring 17 Ares, Sirugamani East Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District ('property in question'), which according to the petitioner is incorrect.

3. Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, who accepts notice for R1 to R3, accedes to the receipt of the representation. He would submit that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Srirengam Revenue Division, Trichy District / R2 is the proper authority to look into the representation.

4. Hence, there is a direction to Revenue Divisional Officer, Srirengam Revenue Division, Trichy District / R2 to hear both the petitioner as well as R4, obtain inputs from other revenue authorities and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within a period of eight weeks from today.
