ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.5 of 2020, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 17.01.2025, during a Jamath meeting in which the defacto complainant participated, the Jamath President compelled him to pay a fine of Rs.3,00,000/-. When the defacto complainant requested a reduction of the fine, all the accused persons allegedly attacked him with deadly weapons. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 2/5

respondent Police submitted that the offences committed by the petitioners are serious in nature and that the petitioner has jumped bail.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner has jumped bail, this Court is directing the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Court and file a recall application. On such application, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall consider the same in accordance with law on merits on the same day.

6. With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
