ORDER
This petition is filed seeking to quash the impugned Charge Sheet in C.C.No.1131 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District, which was filed for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC.
2. The gist of the allegations in the final report is that on the date of occurrence, the petitioner was driving the two wheeler in a rash and negligent manner. Therefore, the respondents 2 to 4 questioned him and advised him. In the evening, the petitioner and others came to the defacto 2/6
complainants village and abused filthy language and assaulted them. Hence, the present complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is a case and counter case and the parties have since arrived at a compromise and decided to give a quietus to the entire dispute. The parties have filed a joint compromise memo dated 04.12.2025.
4. The petitioner and the respondents 2 to 4 are present before this Court in person. They are identified by Mr.Tharmalingam, SSI, Devipattinam Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. All the parties confirmed the compromise arrived at between them.
5. Considering the nature of allegation and the relationship between the parties, this Court in view of the fact that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the impugned final report pending trial. Accordingly, the impugned Charge Sheet in C.C.No.1131 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District, is hereby quashed and the Criminal Original 3/6
Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo dated 04.12.2025 shall form part and parcel of the order.
