O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to cancel the patta stands in the name of Respondent No.5 and subsequently to issue patta in the name of the petitioner's father name, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2025 in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Both parties are present and by considering their arguments, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that patta was issued in favour of the 5th respondent for the land, which was owned by the petitioner. A civil suit was also filed by the 5th respondent before 2/4

the concerned civil Court. However, the said suit was dismissed. Thereafter, appeal was also dismissed. Now the petitioner seeks cancellation of the said patta, which is within the powers of the third respondent and thereafter, direct issuance of patta, which is within the powers of the 4th respondent.

4. In view of the same, the third respondent shall conclude the enquiry for cancellation of the patta in accordance with the procedure laid down under the law and subject to the outcome regarding cancellation of patta, the patta shall be then issued by the 4th respondent in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from today.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
