Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks permission to remove excess soil in his patta land. He had already given application in this regard.

3. The second respondent is directed to dispose of the said application within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner of course has to fulfil all the formalities that he may have to fulfil. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
