ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 19.11.2025 by transfer the investigation officer in Crime No.186/2025 on the file of the second respondent to any other investigation officer within the stipulated time.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant and on her instance a case in Crime No.186 of 2025 was registered with respect to the suspicious death of the petitioner's husband Abimanyu who had left home on 12.09.2025 to meet his friends who had never returned home that night. In this regard, on 13.09.2025, the respondent police informed the petitioner that her husband is dead and brought the body stating that they identified his body near the Edayathi bridge, Kallanai canal. In this regard, FIR was received registered. However, there is no progress in the investigation, hence this petition.

3. Learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that investigation in this case has been completed and the case was altered to Section 105, 238(b) of BNS and the same is yet to be filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court finds that there is no necessity to transfer the investigation of this case. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
