PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to reissue the passport of the petitioner in the file No.MD1077119157324 dated 14.11.2024 which has been withheld in connection with C.C.No.0000033/2023, within the time limit fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to reissue the passport of the petitioner based upon his request dated 14.11.2024.
2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner has been arrayed as an accused in Cr.No.289 of 2021 on the file of the Rediyarchathram Police Station for the alleged offences under Section 279, 304(A) of IPC. A charge sheet has been laid in C.C.No.33 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ottanchathiram.
3. In view of the fact that already charge sheet has been laid, the petitioner is directed to approach the Court concerned seeking permission of the said Court to go abroad.
4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
