ORDER

This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus seeking direction to the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner to commence his lawful work based on the license issued by the Deputy Director of Geology and Mining, Sivagangai, in Na.Ka.No. 107/Kanimam/2024 dated 28.07.2025.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner had preferred a complaint and a CSR was issued. However, when he was called for enquiry, he did not submit any representation.

3. Considering the rival submissions, this Court is of the considered opinion that the following instructions are issued:

1. The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application along with a copy of this order, seeking police protection.

2. The petitioner shall appear before the respondents with a copy of the Aadhaar Card.

3. The respondents shall consider the representation and pass appropriate orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
