ORDER

This civil revision petition has been filed to set aside the fair and Decreetal order passed in I.A. No. 2 of 2024 in H.M.O.P. No. 142 of 2024 passed by the Subordinate Judge, Thirumangalam, dated 18.08.2025. 1/4

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents and perused the records.

3.The present Civil Revision Petition has been filed challenging the order granting interim maintenance of Rs.3,000/-.

4.The revision petitioner contended that the amount of maintenance awarded is very meagre and insufficient. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that, on the ground of alleged adultery, the trial Court had restricted the grant of interim maintenance and that the amount awarded is inadequate, particularly considering the needs of the child. 5.This Court is of the view that the quantum of interim maintenance fixed by the trial Court is meagre and requires enhancement. 6.Accordingly, the order passed by the trial Court is set aside. The respondent is directed to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month towards interim maintenance to the petitioner till the disposal of the main case. 2/4
