O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.04.2025 and grant separate patta in the name of the petitioner for the land measuring approximately 28.566 cents in S.No.249/1 of Thittankulam Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Thoothukudi District, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Both parties are present and by considering their arguments, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. Briefly, the facts of the case is that the land in question was subjected to acquisition by the Government in the year 1994. However, the said acquisition was set aside by the civil Court, vide O.S.No.161 of 1994, dated 22.06.1994. Thereafter, the land was sold to three people. The petitioner claims to be the 4th person, who has purchased the property after the civil Court had set aside the acquisition. He claims that he is in possession of the suit property and accordingly, he has made a request to the respondents for the purpose of regularising the revenue records incorporating his name as pattadar. The said representation was made on 04.04.2025.

4. In the background of the above facts, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.04.2025, requesting for issuance of separate patta. The concerned authority shall issue notices to the parties interested and thereafter, dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 04.04.2025, on merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
