After filing an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer seeking rectification of the patta issued to one Akaraikasi, the petitioner seeks the early disposal of such appeal.
2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. On the basis of written instructions, he submits that the Tahsildar has submitted a report and that the Revenue Divisional Officer would consider the petitioner's appeal and pass orders thereon on merits.
3. In the above facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadar. No costs.
