O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent herein to dispose the Petitioner's appeal No.A3/3157/2025, dated 06.06.2025 within time stipulated fixed by this Court.
2. Both parties are present and by considering their arguments, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had acquired the property in question from one Rangasamy Naidu way back in 1952 and he was in possession since then. However, he came to know that recently patta was issued in respect of the said land to 4th respondent. The 4th respondent claimed right over the land on the basis of a Will.
4. Aggrieved by the issuance of patta in favour of the 4th respondent, the petitioner approached the third respondent, Tahsildar and gave a representation for cancellation of the said patta issued in favour of the 4th respondent. However, the Tahsildar refused to cancel the patta 2/4
issued in favour of the 4th respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the second respondent, which is now pending enquiry.
5. The enquiry proceedings which are now pending before the second respondent shall be disposed of, after giving notice to the 4th respondent and considering the claim of the parties involved, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from today.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
