Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner is in occupation of S.No.563, Thekkattur Village, Thirumayam Taluk. He seeks patta.

3.It is not in dispute that the said survey number has been classified as water body (Pilliyar Kulam). Therefore, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Be that as it may, it is open to the petitioner to workout his rights in the manner known to law. 2/4

4.This writ petition is dismissed with the aforesaid observation. No costs.
