O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to initiate proceedings for cancellation of Patta No.3472 issued in the name of the third and fourth respondents and to conduct an inquiry by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Having regard to the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this writ petition, notice to respondents 3 and 4 is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court to direct the first respondent to initiate proceedings for cancellation of Patta No.3472 issued in the name of the third and fourth respondents and to conduct an inquiry by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025. 2/5

4. Learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2025 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Such representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry. The first respondent is directed to provide a reasonable opportunity at such inquiry to the petitioner, the respondents 3 and 4 and any others who would be affected by such decision.
