ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Additional District and Sessions (PCR) Court, Madurai, to accept his surrender and to consider his bail application in Cr.No. 172 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police to be filed by the petitioner on the same day.
2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.
3. The case of the prosecution is that, due to a money dispute between the petitioner and the de facto complainant, on 17.11.2025, the petitioner allegedly went to the de facto complainant's house, picked a quarrel with him, and attacked him with a knife, causing simple injuries. It is further alleged in the complaint that the petitioner scolded the de facto complainant using his caste name and also damaged the car glass. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Additional District and Sessions (PCR) Court, Madurai, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.172 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
