ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Thoothukudi District, to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit in O.S.No.118 of 2023, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.This Court, vide order dated 09.12.2025, had directed the Court 1/4

below to send a year wise pendency report of the pending suits and in compliance of the same, the learned Subordinate Judge, Thoothukudi District, had sent a report vide proceedings D.No.1260/2025, dated 19.12.2025, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases arising from the year 2007 to 2025, which was addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 1031 and the pendency of the suits in the year 2023 is 167.

3.Considering the fact that the present suit is of the year 2023, the learned Subordinate Judge, Thoothukudi District, is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit in O.S.No.118 of 2023 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. 4.With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
