ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Court, by order dated 28.11.2025, granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. The same is extracted as follows:

" The petitioner/Accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.387 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused were found in illegal possession of 5 kgs of ganja. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that ten previous cases of a similar nature are pending against the petitioner. He further submitted that A-1 has already been arrested.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the age of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

"the petitioner shall do social service at the Regional Cancer Institute situated in Government Rajaji Hospital, Balarengapuram, Madurai, from 10.30 a.m., to 4.00 p.m., 2/5

for a period of four weeks, and he shall not take leave even for a single day."

5. Post the matter on 19.12.2025."

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the conditions imposed by this Court have not been complied with by the petitioner. He further submitted that the petitioner has 12 previous cases, out of which 7 cases are of a similar nature. Hence, he opposed to grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is seen that the petitioner has not complied with the conditions imposed by this Court while granting interim anticipatory bail. Further, considering the previous antecedents against the petitioner, which are of a similar nature, and the availability of sufficient materials to show the involvement of the petitioner in the possession of the contraband, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
