O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to sub-divide and grant patta in the name of the petitioner's company in respect of the petitioner's land in S.No.27/1, Manalur Village, Tirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District to an extent of 5.03 cents on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Both parties are present and by considering their arguments, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner approached the 4th respondent for the purpose of sub-dividing the property and issuing patta in his favour in S.No.27/1, Manalur Village, Tirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District. 2/4

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 informs that the said land is classified as "Channel" i.e., for the purpose of passage of water.

5. In view of the above, it is left open to the petitioner to provide all the relevant documents before the Tahsildar, 4th respondent. Thereafter, the fourth respondent shall consider the documents produced by the petitioner and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from today.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
