This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the official respondents to issue No Objection Certificate to sell the lands to the third respondent in S.F.No.560, S.F.No.554/8, S.F.No. 483/4, S.F.No.571/1, S.F.No.571/2, S.F.No.571/3, S.F.No.556/9, S.F.No.558/6, S.F.No.561/2 to an extent of 1 hectare 2.54 1⁄2 cents situated at Ambadurai Village, Aathoor Taluk, Chinnalapatti Sub Division, Dindigul District, based on the petitioner's representations dated 09.09.2025 & 24.11.2025. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste community and that she is in possession of the subject land which is a panjami land. He would further submit that the petitioner intends to sell the aforesaid property to the third respondent who belongs to BC community. While that being so, the second respondent has issued a 2/6
notification to the Sub-Registrar office of Chinnalapatti in Na.Ka.No.4728/2017/A3 dated 12.06.2017, stating that prior permission must be obtained from the first respondent while selling / mortgaging the panjami land to other community people. In this regard, the petitioner has given representations to the first respondent dated 09.09.2025 and 24.11.2025, which are pending consideration. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.
3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents would submit that the petitioner's representations would be considered in accordance with law, within a stipulated time.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 09.09.2025 and 24.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders after taking into consideration the relevant Government Orders, within a period of four [4] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6
5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
