ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 04.09.2025 pending before the respondent in C.S.R.No.139 of 2025.

It is the case of the petitioner that he entered into a partnership deed on 12.09.2019 with one Dr.Velkumar to run a hospital under the name and style of "Times Healthcare Services," situated at No.32, Kalyanaraman Street, Ariyamangalam, Trichy. Due to difference of opinion, disputes arose between them, and they decided to close the said hospital in the month of February 2023.

In the presence of the Inspector of Police, both parties agreed to resolve the dispute before the Court and accordingly closed the hospital, with articles worth approximately Rs.90 lakhs remaining inside. On 03.09.2025, in the absence of the petitioner, the said Dr.Velkumar, along with his five henchmen, trespassed into the hospital by breaking the door and took valuable surgical and other medical equipment.

4. Upon coming to know of the same, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 04.09.2025, pursuant to which the respondent police issued a petition receipt in C.S.R.No.139 of 2025. However, they have failed to register a case or take any action till date. Hence, the present petition.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side, and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent police to issue summons to both parties concerned within a period of one [1] week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, conduct an enquiry in the matter pertaining to C.S.R.No.139 of 2025 dated 04.09.2025, and conclude the same within a period of two [2] weeks thereafter.
