ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to direct the third respondent to survey and fix the boundary marks of the petitioner's land in Patta No.19425, in Survey No. 236/22A1A, measuring an extent of 0.09.68 Ares (24 cents), situated in Kattuparamakudi Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, based on the petitioner's application dated 06.01.2025, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he is the lawful pattadar of the land comprised in Survey No.236/22A1A, measuring 0.09.68 Ares (24 cents), covered under Patta No.19425, situated at Kattuparamakudi Village, Paramakudi Taluk,

Ramanathapuram District. The petitioner made an application dated 06.01.2025 to the third respondent requesting survey of the property and fixation of boundary marks. However, no action has been taken on his request till date. The failure of the respondents to act on the petitioner's application has resulted in hardship and uncertainty regarding the precise boundaries of his land.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 06.01.2025, demarcate the petitioner's land after considering the claims of both parties, and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of 10 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall

be no order as to costs.
