The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 39 days in filing the appeal, challenging the order passed in I.A.No.80 of 2025 in Cr.No.5 of 2022 dated 20.08.2025 on the file of the Special Court under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, Madurai.

2. Despite receipt of notice, the respondents failed to enter into appearance.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Civil Side) appearing for the petitioner.

4. Considering the reasons assigned and taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list it for admission in the usual course.
