ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.10.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2) and 318(4) of BNS, 2023 in Crime No.583 of 2025 on the file of the respondent seeks bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and intervenor.

3. This Court had already granted interim bail to the petitioner vide order dated 28.11.2025 in the said Criminal Original Petition, in order to enable him to settle the issue, and directed the accused to return the gold to the victims. Today, it is reported that the petitioner has settled the matter only in respect of six persons and is refusing to settle the claims of the remaining 32 victims. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The respondent Police are directed to secure the accused and 2/4

proceed further in accordance with law.
