PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2025 in accordance with law, by taking into account the findings and recommendations of the 5th respondent in Na.Ka.5.5.14/5388/2025 dated 16.09.2025 and after affording due opportunity to the petitioner within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2025 in accordance with law, by taking into account the findings and recommendations of the 5th respondent in Na.Ka. 5.5.14/5388/2025 dated 16.09.2025 and after affording due opportunity to the petitioner.
2. With the consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
4. The petitioner has given a representation dated 27.11.2025 to the second respondent seeking implementation of the proceedings of the fifth respondent, cancellation of the wrongful entries made during UDR updation, and issuance of Patta to the real owner as reflected in the SLR record. Despite the same, no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition.
5. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.
6. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2025 on its merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation
shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner and to any others who may be affected by such decision. There shall be no order as to costs.
