The petitioner/accused in SC No.222 of 2015, on the file of the Fast Track Mahila Court, Kanyakumari, has filed this petition to suspend the sentence imposed on him by the trial Court, for the offence under Sections 452, 294(b), 307 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1988. 2.Today(07.04.2026), when this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
