The petitioner was appointed as Attender in Q 1189 Mamsapuram Primary Agricultural Co-operative, on compassionate ground, after the demise of her husband, one Arjunan, who served as a Salesman in the Society. She has filed this writ petition seeking a 2/6

writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to take action to settle her salary and other dues, by considering her representation dated, 22.08.2024.

2.It is very unfortunate that there is no representation for the petitioner, when this writ petition is taken up for admission. 3.Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, on instructions submits that the petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground in the year 2007. Her husband Arjunan, who served as a salesman in Q1189 Mamsapuram Cooperative Wholesale Store Limited died on 24.10.2004 and therefore this petitioner was accommodated on compassionate ground as an Attender. Since she had certain medical issues, she has not continued her job and also submitted an application for voluntary retirement service. However, it has not been applied in a proper form. Thereafter, this petitioner went on unauthorised absence from the year 2012 and submitted a 3/6

representation seeking all her dues in the year 2024 and now filed this writ petition. He further submits that the request of this petitioner has already been rejected by the respondents, however, he seeks a short accommodation to produce the same. 4.Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to serve the rejection order to the petitioner by registered post, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also open to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order, in the manner known to law, if she is so advised. No costs.
