This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to expedite the trial in HMOP.No.1292 of 2025 on the file of the Family Court, Madurai, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The first petitioner and the second petitioner are wife and husband and their marriage was solemnized on 01.06.2023, according to Hindu rites and customs. Due to matrimonial dispute arose between them, they are living separately. Both the parties have jointly filed a petition in HMOP.No.1292 of 2025 before the Family Court, Madurai, seeking divorce by mutual consent. Seeking speedy disposal of the same, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. 4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioners and also considering the fact that the parties have filed a petition filed under Section 13(B) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, in HMOP.No.1292 of 2025, seeking divorce by mutual consent, the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai, is directed to dispose of HMOP.No.1292 of 2025, dispensing with the cooling period of six months prescribed under Section 13(B)(2) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, by 15.12.2025. 2/4

5.The Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of, with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
