ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to rectify the error in the extent of the subject property in the A-Register maintained by the Revenue Department, by considering the representations dated 03.02.2025 and 03.11.2025, within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, she is the lawful owner of the property recorded in the A-Register maintained by the Revenue Department. The petitioner submitted representations dated 03.02.2025 and 03.11.2025, requesting the second respondent to rectify the error in the extent of the subject property. Despite these representations, the second respondent has failed to take any action, causing prejudice to the petitioner's legal rights. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representations will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 03.02.2025 and 03.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representations shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner, and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision.
