PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.42 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 7 and 8 of POCSO Act, 2012 in Crime No.42 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner continuously followed the victim girl and expressed his proposal of love. On 08.10.2025, the petitioner and one Selvam tried to misbehave with the victim girl. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that 2/5

due to love affair, the victim is also willing to marry the petitioner. He further submitted that the petitioner is willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail for the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that if the petitioner is granted Anticipatory Bail, he will cause threat to the defacto complainant and the victim girl. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the petitioner's conduct of stalking the victim. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. (L V G J) 03.12.2025 APD 3/5
