PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing 1st Respondent to disconnect the Service connection No.05251009806 availed by the 2nd Respondent in the Municipality Road (Fern Hill Road) and Road side land belongs to Kodaikanal Municipality by blocking frontage entry of my property known as 'Sornam 1/4

Complex" (Consisting of lodge and commercial office) at Fern Hill Road, Opposite to Hotel Tamil Nadu, Kodaikanal on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2025 and forbearing the 1st Respondent from providing fresh electricity service connections to the Respondents No.3 to 8 in the Municipality Road Fern Hill Road) and Road side land belongs to Kodaikanal Municipality by blocking frontage entry of my property known as "Sornam Complex" (Consisting of lodge and commercial office) at Fern Hill Road, Opposite to Hotel Tamil Nadu, Kodaikanal on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2025.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the Electricity Board to disconnect service connection given to the respondents 2 to 8 herein on the ground that they are the encroachers in the municipal road.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, she has already filed a writ petition before the Hon'ble Division Bench seeking to evict the respondents 2 to 8 herein.

3. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to work out her remedy in the said writ petition.
