This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents to remove the entry in the encumbrance certificate vide Doc Nos.1551 of 2016, 3010 of 2016, 3011/2016, 4139/2016, 5182/2016, 4929/2019 and 4839 of 2020 which are all forged and unnecessary and unwanted documents on the file of the 4th respondent in T.S.No.2748, Plot No.64, to an extent of 18800 sq.ft situated at Ward No.10, Rathinasamy Nadar Road, Madurai Town, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2/5
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The petitioner has sent a representation dated 29.08.2025 to the respondents to remove the entry in the encumbrance certificate made to the aforesaid documents. Since there was no action on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.
4. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and orders would be passed.
5. Considering the submission made on either side, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:
The respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2025 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of 3/5
receipt of a copy of this order.
