ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's appeal in Na.Ka.D5/20746/2021, dated 19.08.2021, within a period to be fixed by this Court, in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 13.11.2025.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the third respondent, notice to third respondent is hereby dispensed with.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that, on account of the petitioner's absence, the proceedings could not be completed, and the case now stands posted to 05.03.2026.

5. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had appeared before the first respondent on several occasions.

6. However, the fact remains that the appeal was filed in the year 2021. The petitioner shall appear and prosecute the said appeal on 05.03.2026 and thereafter whenever the case is posted. In the event that the petitioner appears before the first respondent to prosecute the appeal, the same shall be considered and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the third respondent, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from 05.03.2026.
