O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.10.2025 and subsequent representation dated 14.11.2025 and to consequently direct the respondents herein to issue the adangal documents for the properties mentioned in Patta No.732 in Thavasikurichi Revenue Village group and in Patta No.922 in Pakku Vetti (Revenue group) so as to facilitate the petitioner to apply for the crop insurance for the crops cultivated in those properties. 2.With the consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/6

3.According to the petitioner, she has given representations dated 11.10.2025 and 14.11.2025 to the second and third respondents, seeking adangal copies, which is still pending before the second and third respondents, without any final decision, despite the long lapse of time. The petitioner contends that the prolonged inaction of the respondents 2 & 3 is arbitrary and has caused undue hardship, necessitating the intervention of this Court. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representations will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 11.10.2025 and 14.11.2025, on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as all other persons, who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of 3/6

this order. Since it is represented by some of the learned Counsel for the rival claimants that there are several civil disputes which are pending in respect of the subject properties, the respondents 2 & 3 are also directed to take into consideration the said fact before disposing of the petitioner's representations. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the same on its own merits. There shall be no order as to costs.
