ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, to issue a Writ or direction or any other appropriate order in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament scheduled for one day i.e. on 20.12.2025 at 10.00 PM to Athiyuthu Main Road, Kaluneerkulam, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 09.11.2025 and 17.11.2025. 2.The contention of the petitioner is that they have made arrangements to conduct the Kabadi Tournament scheduled to be conducted on 20.12.2025 and 21.12.2025. In this regard, they have already submitted a representation before the respondent but 2/4

the same was not considered so far. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the respondent police is ready and willing to grant permission on 12.12.2025 and 13.12.2025.

4.Since the petitioner has made several arrangements to conduct the tournament on 20th and 21st December 2025, the respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2025 and 17.11.2025 and grant permission for the Kabadi Tournament scheduled to be conducted on 20th and 21st December, 2025 with condition.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs. 04.12.2025 PJL Note:Issue order copy on 17.12.2025.
