ORDER

This criminal original petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.200 of 2025 on the file of the 3rd respondent to the 4th respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 16.01.2025, bronze articles in her ancestral house were stolen and in this regard, she had lodged a complaint, for which Crime No.200 of 2025 came to be registered for the offenses under Sections 331(3), 331(4) and 305(a) of BNS, 2023. However, there is no progress in the investigation and hence, sought for transferring the investigation from the file of the 3rd respondent to the 4th respondent. 2/5

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) had produced before me the confession statement obtained from the accused person wherein he had stated that he had sold the stolen bronze vessels and several persons had utilized the same for consumption of liquor and they have also recovered an amount of Rs.15,000/- from the accused.

4. Recording this submission, directing the 2nd respondent to monitor the investigation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The 3rd respondent is directed to apprise the 2nd respondent of the progress of the investigation every week. The said enquiry shall be concluded within a period of four (4) weeks from today (10.12.2025). 10.12.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No gbg 3/5
