This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 938/Aa1/2023 dated 24.10.2025 on the file of the fourth respondent and consequently direct the fourth respondent to record and mark the forged Legal Heir Certificate in Oo.Mu. A5/0855/2025 dated 14.03.2025 proceeding of the Tahsildar, Srirangam, Trichy District and the fraudulent documents Nos. 1252/2021, 1362/2021, 1365/2021, 1367/2021 and 1370/2021 in the encumbrance certificate and on their official records based on petitioner's protest petition dated 23.01.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The petitioner is the absolute owner of the subject property by virtue of a Court-executed sale deed registered as Document No.3978 of 2/7
2018, which was executed pursuant to the compromise decree passed in I.A.No.120 of 2016 and the execution proceedings in E.P.No.193 of 2017. However, in the year 2021, five fraudulent documents bearing Document Nos.1252 of 2021, 1362 of 2021, 1365 of 2021, 1367 of 2021 and 1370 of 2021 came to be registered by third parties in respect of Survey No.6/2 and the adjoining lands, on the basis of a forged legal heir certificate allegedly issued by the Tahsildar, Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli District. The petitioner immediately lodged a protest petition dated 23.01.2023 before the third and fourth respondents. However, the third and fourth respondents have neither completed the proceedings on the said protest petition nor made the necessary entries marking the said documents as fraudulent in the encumbrance certificates.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2025 would be considered by the respondents within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the 3/7
representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

This matter is listed today under the caption "for being mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner is the fourth respondent. However, in the order dated 04.12.2025, this Court directed the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner. Therefore, the order dated 04.12.2025 has to be modified.
3. In view of the same, in the order dated 04.12.2025, in paragraph No.4 in the the second line, the "first respondent" should be modified as "fourth respondent".
4. Registry is directed to carry out necessary corrections and issue fresh order copy to the parties.
