E.C.No.63 of 2014 dated 26/03/2025 within a stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent herein to release the compensation amount of Rs.2,70,163/- (Rupees two lakhs seventy thousand one hundred and sixty three only) and interest as awarded to the petitioner in E.C.No.63 of 2014 dated 26/03/2025 within a stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent.
3. All the details of the facts are not necessary to adjudicate the writ petition. Briefly stated the 2nd and 3rd respondents deposited an amount of Rs.2,70,163/- as compensation in favour of the petitioner before the first respondent Commissioner. The said compensation was deposited on account of the death of the husband of the petitioner while working with the 2nd and 3rd respondents.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader submits no objection to release the amount as directed by this Court.
5. Once the amount of compensation is deposited with the first respondent, the identity particulars of the petitioner can be sought and that amount has to be released. One fails to understand as to why the first respondent sought details of the current address of the 2nd and 3rd respondents. Since there is no dispute regarding the claim of compensation, the amount being deposited with the first respondent, the first respondent shall release the compensation in favour of the petitioner.
6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
