This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2025 which was received by the respondents on 02.09.2025 and to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry in respect of the Kudiyeruppu Patta passed in Na.Ka.No.8/2017/A3 for the Kudiyeruppu patta lands 0.03.0 Ares, situated in 158/3B-1, situated in Koranattu Karupur Village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District and carry out the entry in the Village Records of Koranattu Karuppur, Kumbakonam Taluk, Kudiyeruppu Patta in Ku.ta.pa48/94 dated 27.09.1994 and to complete the same. 2/6

2.With the consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he has given a representation dated 13.08.2025 to the respondents for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner, which is still pending before the second respondent without any final decision, despite the long lapse of time. The petitioner contends that the prolonged inaction of the second respondent is arbitrary and has caused undue hardship, necessitating the intervention of this Court. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.08.2025, conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance 3/6

with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as all other persons, who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of ten [10] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the second respondent to consider the same on its own merits.
